History

In 2012, Grassroots 365 in partnership with Open Gym Premier came together to address the concern of having one showcase event. With the goal of bringing the best of the best together, the recipe was simple, If we build it, they will come. Early years were headlined by the lack of separate divisions, lopsided scores and jumbled tournament schedules creating a frenzied basketball environment. Despite the chaos, The Championship consistently brought the toughest talent together for a jam-packed weekend, it was clear they were on the brink of something special.
