Dallas heats up at the National Showdown

G365’s first Dallas event makes history

The National Showdown was quite the shootout in Texas. Teams all over the country finally face off in a  showdown to find out who would be champions. From Orange County club teams such as OGP, all the way to 99 OVR club teams from Texas. Elite basketball was everywhere and we truly saw some of the best in youth league basketball. This leads up to one big step closer to the beloved G365 Championship.

Texas United showed that they are a battle hardened team and even through adversity they were still able to come out on top to become champions. One of the players that gave great contribution to the team is Kingston Wyatt who was a complete player shooting well on the offensive side and crashing the boards on the defensive side.

Fort Worth Crush were crushing it all event long, as they were undefeated and cruised their way to being champions. The team had a great performance on both sides of the ball with having an elite scoring ability and having an attack defense to create turnovers and fastbreaks.

El Paso Prime Time went on a tear at the event as they would go undefeated and conquered the 11U division.  Carlo Andre Baldenebro Camez had a standout performance in the tournament scoring double digit points 4 out of 5 games played.

AB Elite faced some adversity in the beginning of the tournament, but it was only motivation as they were able to turn it into a win streak to be champions. AB Elite’s ability to score and get crucial rebounds was their formula for success.

Dallas Elite had an outstanding run, being able to finish off close games and clutch up in big moments to be champions. The team was firing on all cylinders as they were capitalizing on fastbreaks and forcing turnovers was a big part of their game.

99OVR played to their namesake and played 99 OVR  basketball all the way to the top of the championship heap. They were killing it from the three point line and couldn’t be stopped as it gave them the ability to spread out the defense and score from everywhere.
