G365 Invitational 2023

The road to the G365 Championship in April went through the G365 Invitational in Anaheim, California this past weekend and foreshadowed the premier signature event in Orange County for youth basketball in 2024. Teams in the 8U-14U were given the opportunities to compete in Gold, Silver, Bronze and Copper divisions, which led to the Grassroots signature level playing field and excellent matchups.

8U

Gold Champions: #5 OGP Ladera defeated #2 West Coast Tigers 25-22 to take home the championship.  MVP Baker Ward led OGP Ladera with 9 points, 7 rebounds and  2 steals in the championship game. Gavin Wurster earned All-Tourney for OGP Ladera. 

9U

Gold Champions: #7 Pro Skills Black defeated #13 OGP Ladera Black 40-15 in the championship game.  Alexander Tilander led the way for Pro Skills Black to earn MVP honors.  Tilander averaged 11.5 PPG, 8.3 RPG, 4.3 GPG, and 5 SPG.   Nicholas Artope also earned All-Tourney honors for Pro Skills Black.

Gold Champions: #14 OGP Anaheim defeated #9 Signet Royalty 40-35 for the championship.   Carson Richmond earned MVP honors for OGP Anaheim.  Richmond averaged 14.3 PPG, 2.8 RPG, and 2.3 SPG.

Bronze Champions:  West Coast Tigers / MVP: Jonah Sloan

Copper Champions: West Coast Tigers B / MVP: Tyler Terani

Gold Champions: #14 CBC defeated #17 46-44 to take home the championship. They were led by MVP Pierre Killian’s 15 Points and 5 rebounds in the championship matchup.  

Silver/Bronze East Champions:  OGP Fullerton Black / MVP: Eastern Carlos

Silver/Bronze West Champions: OGP Anaheim / MVP: Koi Rhea

Gold ChampionsJBL made the trek from Louisiana and crushed the competition.  They will land at #2 when the new rankings come out in December.  Jayden Jean earned MVP honors and Henry Jolly earned All-Tourney honors for JBL Elite.

Silver Champions:  Pro Skills Black / MVP: Will Fox

Bronze/Copper Champions: OGP Fullerton Black / MVP: Gabriel Hoshide

Gold Champions:  #23 Creators Elect defeated #1 12U 360 Basketball 64-44 to take home the championship.   They were led by MVP Jaiden Giarrizzo (16.3 PPG, 6.6 RPG, 4.3 APG).

Bronze Champions:  Pro Skills blue / MVP: Jayden Tang

Copper Champions: Premier BC / MVP: Lucas Ploghaus

Gold East Champions:  West Coast Tigers defeated Pasadena Elite Black 56-55 in a tight battle for the championship.  Dylan Alexander earned MVP honors after putting up 16 points and 12 rebounds in the championship game. Clark Elliott also earned All-Tourney honors for West Coast Tigers.

Silver Champions:  OGP Fullerton Black / MVP: David Gorodezki

Bronze Champions: OGP Yorba Linda / MVP: Scott Lee

Copper Champions:  OP-B Elite / MVP: Jaylen Lopez
