EBO/Jus B Tuf Make Their Mark at G365 Bay Area Classic

Walnut Creek, CA – Our third visit to the Bay Area in a span of two month gave us a nice surprise as both 2024 EBO and 2023 Jus B Tuf had impressive G365 debuts that gave them an opportunity to enter in as Top 25 teams.

The 2023 EBO club team split their 14U teams to create two evenly split squads that still resulted in a 14U championship over a tough BMG Academy team. The Fresno based EBO squads allowed us to see two of the toughest 14U players on the G365 circuit in AJ Johnson and Christian Holmes. Johnson earned MVP honors and Holmes was named to the all-tourney team.

In the 13U division, Just B Tuf has the best duo we have seen on the circuit. MVP Michael Lewis is a combo guard that has a terrific motor and plays with tremendous energy. There was no opposing player that could stop Lewis from getting what he wanted all weekend. The only reason why Lewis may have been unstoppable may have been because his teammate, Jamari Phillips, was just as good and dominating and not going up against him. Just B Tuf move into the Top 20 with their terrific performance.

The 11U and 12U was a repeat of what we last saw in the Bay Area. A SF WHPH sweep of the division. Antoine Morgan earned 12U MVP honors and Raymond Whitley earned 11U honors for the G365 Top Ranked 11U team.

In the 10U division, MVP Zion Grissom helped lead his ASA Prime Gold team over a tough Palo Alto Flight team that featured all-tourney member, Jerry Williams. ASA Prime Gold earned a G365 Top 25 ranking and Palo Alto Flight joined the NorCal Region’s Top 10.
