AZ heats up for G365 Valley of the Sun

The road to the G365 Championship in April went through Phoenix this past week at G365 Valley of the Sun event.  Teams from California, Utah, Texas, Nevada and Arizona competed in the 8U-14U divisions.


#6 AZ Gym Rats Red defeated #5 AZ Gremlins 39-38 in tightly fought championship game.  Jonas Minott led the way for AZ Gym Rats Red to earn MVP honors.  Minott averaged 13 PPG.


#5 SE Supreme defeated #22 Dub Elite 36-31 for the championship. Jayce Miles earned MVP honors for SE Supreme.  Miles averaged 12.3 PPG and 7.3 RPG.


Unranked Team BWIL out of Utah had an impressive G365 debut going 4-0 and getting through 3 Top 25 teams.  Team BWIL defeated AZ Underrated 54-31 to earn their Championship and an upcoming Top 15 ranking.  Carter Anderson earned MVP honors for BWIL. 


#2 Dubs Elite defeated #9 UH Elite Ignite 47-35 in the Championship match-up that was extraordinary. Draylan McClinton earned MVP honors for Dubs Elite and Trent Cason earned All-Tourney honors for UH Elite Ignite.


Unranked Supreme 2029 defeated AZ Phenoms 61-44 in the Championship game. Both finalists will receive strong Top 20 consideration in the upcoming rankings release.  Walter Hennix III averaged 15 PPG and 4 RPG for SE Supreme to earn MVP honors.


Gold East Champions:  #9 UH Elite Ignite defeated #24 SE Supreme 2028 51-50 in a tight battle for the championship.  Kaii Voogd earned MVP honors and David Rossling earned All-Tourney honors for UH Elite Ignite.
