2023 CAVS Claim LA’s Valley Top Spot

Thousand Oaks, CA – The CAVS club program has been around for over 25 years and is one of the longest tenured club teams in the US. To see the 2023 CAVS take home the championship in the OGP King of the Valley Session II at the start of 2019, is a reminder that the CAVS are still very much relevant and have the Valley’s Top 2024 team.

Here are the teams and players that stood out:

  • The 2023 CAVS team went 5-0 as they battled to claim the Valley’s top spot at their grade level. They defeated teams from the expansive Southern California region: San Diego, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. The CAVS will be one of the teams competing for a Top 10 SoCal region ranking when they are released January 25. In the silver division, teamEdge survived an eight team bracket in winning the championship.
  • 2024 OGP Kings continue to develop and evolve as a team. The team survived an early pool play loss to a tough Rebels Elite on their way to a silver division championship. The SCV Playmakers took home the bronze division championship.
  • In the 12U Division, teamEdge outplayed nine other teams and went undefeated (5-0) in their championship run. teamEdge is on the rise and will be a team we look at as a possible SoCal region Top 10 team.
  • DC Complex took home the 11U championship and the West Coast Tigers took home the 10U championship.
